The intermittant blog --- what have we learned in the pandemic times?

I've walked a lot during the 451 days between my check ins at the Wellness Center -- I've told people I spent a year walking in circles -- but it was really irregular square shapes (from my home, around many blocks, out towards the lighthouse, home again) or lines (along the bike path, beginning and ending at different points).

I had a lot of telephone conversations, and I took a lot of photographs.

I know people who learned to box, and learned to bake bread, and did other creative things.  I know others who struggled in the everyday unreal reality, and a few front line heroes.  So many stories, and most of them untold or under reported.

I hope we will now, individually and collectively, spend some time reflecting on what we learned, and what we now do differently, and want to continue to do.  I'm seeing more of a rush to return to "normal" without questioning what was unhealthy or unproductive about that reality.

I want to keep walking, and to keep in touch with the friends I connected with on a deeper level while walking.  I want to see people and travel again, but perhaps more thoughtfully...
